THE ALPINE EXPLORER TOUR ITINERARY
Europe’s most iconic mountain roads. One unforgettable ride.
Note: If you're not riding from the UK on your own motorcycle, the route will be adapted to begin with bike pickup near Innsbruck Airport, giving us more time in the high Alps. There is also the option to add some off-road riding to this tour via sections of the Italian TET (Trans Euro Trail)—perfect for riders seeking a bit more grit in their adventure.

Calais/Folkestone to Reims
We begin our journey in Calais or Folkestone, crossing into France and making our way to the historic city of Reims, in the heart of the Champagne region. Easy riding through open countryside, with time to explore the grand cathedral or enjoy a glass of bubbly at one of the many local producers.
Day: 02
Reims to Baden-Baden
Today we ride east into Germany, heading for the spa town of Baden-Baden at the edge of the Black Forest. Rolling hills give way to winding forest roads, with time to stop in charming villages or dip your toes in one of the town’s famous thermal baths.

Baden-Baden to Lindau
We follow the B500 Schwarzwaldhochstraße—one of Germany’s most scenic roads—cutting through the Black Forest before descending toward Lake Constance. Our destination is the lakeside town of Lindau, perched on an island with sweeping views of the Alps in the distance.

Rest Day on Lake Como
Time to unwind. Take a boat trip to Bellagio, wander through old towns like Varenna, or just relax with coffee and gelato by the lake. Optional ride-outs available for those who want to keep rolling—or add in a section of the TET for those wanting a taste of gravel and adventure.
