TOUR ITINERARY
Day : 01
Arrival Cape Town
You will arrive in Cape Town and take delivery of rental bikes. Spend the rest of the day taking in a couple of sights in and around cape town, we will have a group evening meal with a chance to get to know your fellow adventurers and guide, any doubts concerns or questions now’s the time.
Day: 02
Cape Aghulas
Today we will be riding to the most southerly point of the African continent passing through Hermanus the whale watching capital of Africa then on to Gansbai the place we board our shark diving boat, ending up at our ocean view hotel.
Day : 03
St Francis bay
today we head along the coast to the village of st francis bay with its white painted houses with black roofs on the canals whales can be seen in the bay in season and dolphins can be seen daily, keep an eye out for the rare African oystercatcher and fish eagles. The chance to take a swim or watch the cape clawless otter frolicking in the rock pools should be on your list of things to do.
Day: 04
Schotia Game Reserve
Today we will ride to Schotia after signing in we will ride in the park to our accommodation
watching for elephants giraffe kudu and other African wildlife, once we are parked and changed out of riding gear our ranger will pick us up and we will have a full safari by open jeep getting really close to Africa’s big 5, we will be taken to our bush lapa to enjoy an evening meal before continuing with a night drive.The next day begins with a morning drive and breakfast then we collect our bikes for the next leg of our journey to Lesotho.
Day : 05
Burgersdorp
For those with a sense of adventure this small town used to be the original homeland of the san
or bushmen, the town is filled with historical buildings and museums.
Day: 06
Sani Pass
Today we ride the famous sani pass amazing views lead to the highest pub in Africa 9436ft
Day: 07
Lesotho
Today we explore the kingdom of Lesotho, this mountain kingdom indeed feels like the roof of
Africa and a place that time forgot, miles and miles of twisty tarmac but make the most of this
ride tomorrow we explore the roof of Africa off road.
Day: 08
Semonkong Falls
More off road today takes us to Semonkong falls the highest single drop waterfall in South Africa
the road and destination are breathtaking we will see many Basotho the local people dressed in
colourful blankets called Seana Marena unique to the kingdom of Lesotho.
Day: 09
Coelsberg
Today we leave Lesotho and head towards the klein karoo stopping at colesberg for the night.
Day: 10
Oudtshoorn
Today we ride to the ostrich capital of Africa and the chance to explore the cango caves a 20
million year old network of limestone chambers.
Day: 11
Simons Town
Today we ride the world famous garden route with a stop for photos and a drink at ronnies sex
shop a famous biker bar, then on to our last night at simons town a seaside town with a
difference, at our hotel you will be supprised to see wild African penguins and even get the
chance to swim with them in the rock pools.
Day: 12
Cape Town
After your early morning swim with the penguins we will ride the amazing Chapman’s peak drive
back to cape town and return our bikes this is where our adventure ends unless you have
chosen to spend some extra time in cape town just let us know and we will arrange tours and
hotels.
