This year’s Adventure Bike Rider Festival at Ragley Hall was truly one for the books! Our team at African Moto Adventures embarked on an unforgettable journey from the UK to Finland and then on to the ABR Festival as part of our annual office ride-out. We kicked things off by tackling the Swedish TET (Trans Euro Trail), winding our way into the breathtaking landscapes of Norway, and then heading south to the UK. After getting off the ferry in Hull on Friday morning, we rode directly to the festival, filled with excitement and anticipation for the weekend ahead.
Our adventure started long before we arrived at Ragley Hall. The ride itself was a thrilling mix of challenging trails, stunning scenery, and a sense of camaraderie that only comes from sharing the road with fellow adventure enthusiasts. From the rugged beauty of Norway’s mountains to the serene forests of Sweden, the journey was an adventure in itself, reminding us why we love what we do. The TET route pushed our limits, with its varied terrain offering a perfect blend of off-road excitement and scenic splendor. Every twist and turn brought new challenges, and we couldn’t help but feel a deep connection to the landscapes we traversed.
By the time we reached Hull, spirits were high, and we were eager to dive into the festival atmosphere. Despite the long ride, our team was full of energy and ready to engage with the vibrant community of riders at the ABR Festival. We arrived at Ragley Hall to find our stall already set up, thanks to our incredible team who had arrived earlier in the week. From the moment we unpacked our bikes, we were greeted by a wave of familiar faces, along with plenty of new ones, all eager to share their stories and learn about our latest tours.
The festival itself was nothing short of amazing. The ABR Festival is always a highlight of our year, and this one did not disappoint. We spent the weekend immersed in all things adventure biking, from the incredible talks and workshops to the hands-on experiences that make this event so special. Our stall became a hub of activity as we connected with fellow riders, discussed routes, shared tips, and of course, signed up a fantastic number of bookings for our upcoming tours.
One of the highlights was getting to showcase our updated tour calendar. We’ve been hard at work planning some truly epic rides for the upcoming season, and it was great to see so many of you excited about what we have in store. The updated calendar is now live on our website, offering a variety of tours that cover some of the most beautiful and remote parts of Africa. Whether you’re looking for a challenging off-road experience or a more relaxed journey through stunning landscapes, there’s something for everyone. For those eager to start planning their next adventure, we encourage you to visit our website (desktop only) and check out the new offerings.
As the festival drew to a close, we couldn’t help but reflect on the incredible sense of community that defines the Adventure Bike Rider Festival. It’s always inspiring to see so many passionate riders come together, united by a shared love of adventure and exploration. The conversations we had, the stories we heard, and the friendships we forged over the weekend are what make events like this so special.
We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who came to visit us at our stall. Your enthusiasm, curiosity, and support are what drive us to keep pushing the boundaries of adventure travel. We’re already looking forward to next year’s festival and can’t wait to see you all on the road soon. Until then, keep the spirit of adventure alive, and don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions about our tours or want to start planning your next big ride.
Safe travels, and see you on the trails!
