THE COWBOY TOUR

14 Days I  2146 km (1343mi)

This extraordinary motorcycle journey through the American West is a two-week immersion into the landscapes, legends, and lifestyle that define the true spirit of North America. From the moment you land in Jackson Hole, the sense of scale and freedom is unmistakable. After picking up your bike, the ride begins with a gentle introduction to Wyoming’s wild beauty, heading to the cowboy town of Dubois nestled between towering mountain ranges. As the journey gains momentum, riders traverse the sweeping plains of the Wind River Reservation and descend into the dramatic Wind River Canyon before soaking in the healing waters of Thermopolis, home to the world’s largest hot mineral spring. The terrain and atmosphere shift as you enter South Dakota’s Black Hills—a land of winding gravel tracks, granite peaks, and deep forests. Days spent exploring Keystone offer a rare chance to ride amongst American icons like Mount Rushmore and Crazy Horse, while the Wildlife Loop in Custer State Park brings encounters with roaming bison, prairie dogs, and possibly even bears.

The tour then takes on a surreal tone in Badlands National Park, where alien-like rock formations and endless horizons stretch into the distance. It's a photographer’s dream and a rider’s playground—wild, raw, and awe-inspiring. From here, the route bends back westward into Wyoming to the imposing presence of Devils Tower, a sacred and storied site that seems to rise straight from the earth’s crust. No ride through the American West would be complete without a deep dive into cowboy culture, and Cody delivers just that with its honky-tonks, heritage, and the electric atmosphere of the Cody Stampede Rodeo. Riders then tackle the dramatic ascents of the Chief Joseph and Beartooth Highways, soaring to over 11,000 feet, where hairpin turns and vast mountain vistas challenge and reward in equal measure.

The tour’s final chapters unfold in two of the continent’s greatest natural wonders. First, Yellowstone National Park offers a kaleidoscope of geothermal activity, deep valleys, and diverse wildlife—from bubbling mud pots and thunderous waterfalls to roaming herds of elk and bison. The vastness and variety of this supervolcano landscape are staggering, making every mile within its borders a revelation. Then, as the journey begins to close, riders cruise south into Grand Teton National Park, where jagged peaks pierce the sky and crystal-clear lakes reflect the stunning scenery. Whether you choose to raft the Snake River, take a flight over the Tetons, or simply relax on the shores of Jackson Lake, the final days offer space to reflect, recharge, and celebrate. The tour ends where it began—back in Jackson Hole—with a well-earned drink at the legendary Million Dollar Cowboy Bar. This is more than a motorcycle tour; it’s a cinematic ride through the untamed soul of America, filled with wild roads, towering landscapes, frontier history, and unforgettable moments around every bend.
